ABOUT US
Broadland Management Services gives you the peace of mind that your boat is being professionally cared for all year round and is ready and waiting for you to enjoy. Our friendly trusted team of experts have collectively been building and maintaining boats on the Broads for over 120 years, and their experience and contacts in the area mean that you can rest assured that anything your boat may need, we can help.

Each boat and owners' needs are different, so we offer a flexible and tailored approach to suit you and to keep your boat in top condition. We will look after your boat as if it is our own and protect your investment.

We look after boats of all kinds and can provide a seasonal, annual, monthly or hourly package. From conducting regular inspection visits to organising Boat Safety Scheme examinations, overseeing renovations to organising cleaning, Broadland Management Services take the hassle out of boat ownership for you, so you can get out on the water.

Broadland Management Services is run by enthusiastic husband and wife team, Tim and Pam Waters. Tim is a time serviced boat builder, who served his apprenticeship on wooden boats before moving into GRP. He then worked at Aquafibre in Rackheath as a development plugmaker for Fairline Boats. When the Boat Safety Scheme came into force he trained as an examiner and is well respected for his knowledge and fair approach.  Pam set up Broadland Yacht Brokers in 2012 as an online brokerage for new and used boats on the Norfolk Broads. The business grew rapidly but 2018 saw her seeking a new boating business challenge and she established Broadland Charters offering luxury charter boat hire on the Norfolk Broads.  She is respected for her friendly, honest and professional approach together with a commitment to delivering excellent customer service.

Jointly their flexible, Broads and boating knowledgeable and willing approach to provide excellent service and value for money to customers has been a winning combination.  Across the Broads network their contact list is enviable and in the unlikely event that they can’t help they usually know someone who will.

Our Mission

Our aim is to provide a valuable and cost effective, first class service to private boat owners across the Norfolk Broads, ensuring that their time is spent enjoying life afloat rather than the more mundane and labour intensive side of boat ownership.

Our objective is to encourage and promote the enjoyment of private boat ownership across the Norfolk Broads. With over 120 miles of navigable water, the Broads is an incredibly special place with an abundance of wildlife, history and a fabulous place to relax and watch the world go by.

Some owners enjoy “tinkering” and preparing their boat for trips down river and we can offer a less intrusive service to allow them to be more “hands on” whilst at the same time giving them peace of mind that their boat is being professionally cared for. For those owners who require a more involved or bespoke service Broadland Management Services will be there every step of the way.

Our approach to the services we offer is very much “tell us how we can help you” and we work hand in hand with owners for everything from the smallest job or one-off inspection visit to the largest of refurbishment projects.
